Clint Gardner Elected to Board of Touchstone Energy Cooperatives
ARLINGTON, VA (January 28, 2016) – Clint Gardner, Chief Executive Officer and General Manager of Coleman County Electric Cooperative, Inc. in Coleman, Texas, was recently elected to the board of directors of Touchstone Energy Cooperatives.
Touchstone Energy Cooperatives represents a nationwide alliance of more than 750 local, member-owned electric co-ops in 46 states dedicated to providing members with safe, reliable and affordable
electricity. Coleman County Electric Cooperative, Inc. has been a Touchstone Energy cooperative since 2015 and serves approximately 9,000 members in Central Texas.
The Touchstone Energy Cooperatives Board of Directors consists of 13 members responsible for setting policy, establishing long-term goals, monitoring general operations, and approving the organizational outcomes and allocation of resources. Gardner will begin his three-year term in February at the board’s reorganizational meeting during the NRECA Annual Meeting.

Gardner has served as CEO/General Manager of Coleman County Electric Cooperative, Inc. since May, 2014. Prior to that, he served as Manager of Member Services/Marketing at Otero County Electric Cooperative, Inc. in Cloudcroft, NM.; Manager of Personnel & Administration at Lyntegar Electric Cooperative, Inc. in Tahoka, Texas. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Health Education from Wayland Baptist University. Gardner resides in Coleman, Texas with his wife Shana.
